Auto gates and parking areas also are shown, all within a short distance of the fair's distance of the fair's center of activity. the lower panel shows modernistic fronts of exhibit buildings which are grouped in a small area than at the old grounds, yet are seperated by wide, double walks to permit easier passage. The entrance to the main gate, about center of the map off May avenue, although not an entrance for public parking, is an excellent place to drive in to pick up members of the family and depart without having to enter a paid gate or give fair visitors a long walk."

Looking north on the bridge, above, the open space betweed floored sections has been narrowing since the contract time expired earlier this month. Juvenile court records show that in 1952 a total of 623 Oklahoma county youngsters appeared in the court. Not all of those were real delinquets. many were being handled for the first time for minor offenses in an effort to prevent more serious outbreaks. City Called Disgrace In 1953, the year Oklahoma City was declared a national disgrace by a Washington investigation committee, the rate had declined. A total of 572 Oklahoma County youngsters had been seen by juvenile court officers......Wayne Harbolt, chief of detectives, explains that Oklahoma City got credit for a lot of 4 and 5-year old "vandals" on the delinquency record Washington senators saw. Those youngsters never should have been listed as criminal understudies. (photo tag: Delinquency hit a peak in 1952 with 623 youngsters brought before the juvenille court.
