Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "Did you ever try to get through the intersection at NW 10, Classen and walker without losing a fender? According to figures compiled by the police accident investigation division, there have been 45 major accidents there in the last 18 months. Of this number, 21 were rear-end collisions of north-bound traffic at the southeast corner of NW 10 and Walker; 11 occurred near the center of the intersection and three occurred on the northeast corner. This picture was taken from the fire department's 100-foot aerial ladder truck and is printed at the request of the Oklahoma City Safety council in an effort to reduce accidents and injuries."
