I wrote you a letter over a week ago, haven't heard from M.E.J. yet. I have a lot to tell when we meet again. Pro. Rinkney is as low as he can be. I am well, all send love. Mary E. Moore."

Finally he wishes Josephine a "nice time in Belleville this week with love to all and kisses for you."
