Impact Assessment of Exploratory Wells Offshore South Florida
This report investigates five older and two newer exploration oil wells to determine the environmental impact in a tropical climate. The five older sites were created prior to the OCS and MMS regulations for drilling, and the newer two were created with the OCS and MMS regulations. This investigation was set to determine if these sites had a positive, negative, or no impact on the environment.

Long-Term Monitoring at the East and West Flower Garden Banks
This report is a continuation of a similar study conducted from 1989-1991 when permanent stations were established to monitor the coral in the area to assess how environmental factors were affecting the reefs. Growth rates and declines were observed, as well as the rates of coral bleaching in the East and West Garden Banks to determine the state of the coral reefs. There are four appendices that present the data gathered.

Modeling the Structure and Performance of Integrated and Independent Producers in the Gulf of Mexico OCS Region
Major oil and gas companies are shifting to foreign exploration and production, which is leading to smaller companies ("independents") playing a larger role in domestic exploration and production. This report addresses concerns about independent companies producing oil and gas less aggressively and less efficiently to assess their productivity.
