Beach ensemble with a dark blue wool jersey knit maillot swimsuit with ties from bust to around neck, an off-white wrap-around terry cloth skirt with striped blue and white section at waist an in patches on side, and a matching off-white terrycloth shawl with fringed ends.

Ecru worsted wool two-piece suit. A: Jacket with center front opening with four beige plastic buttons with bound button holes, first two spread apart by 2" next two spread apart by 10". Collared. Motif of concentric arced inserts, 1.175" wide each, starting from shoulder point, arcing down past second button. This upside down arc repeats on the back with a rainbow meeting the shoulder's center. On front, two more arc inserts motif repeat, with the rainbow arc stretching over the smaller reversed arc between the sections of buttons. One-piece set in sleeves with double elbow darts. Lined in beige silk faille. Retailer's label at center back collar: "Neiman-Marcus" Designer's Label at front right jacket lining: "Adrian / Original" B: Unlined A-line skirt of same fabric with lapped zipper covered by triangle pointed waistband tip on the left side. Waistband 1 3/8" wide. Four darts total, two in front, two in back. Pinked edge to seam allowances. Hem tape attached to 3" wide hem edge with machine stitch, tape hand based to inside of skirt with blind hem (slip stitch) stitch.

Natural straw cartwheel or picture hat. The wide, slightly floppy, brim slopes up to the low circular domed crown. Around the crown is a black silk scarf attached in three places with black bows, with trailing section off of the back of the brim.

Dress of black wool with leather trim. Standup collar trimmed in snaps. Front leather trimmed opening with 5 self-covered snaps. Detachable front skirt panel topped in black leather trim and secured with 5 self-covered snaps. Bracelet length sleeves trimmed with snaps at cuff. Back zipper. Fully lined in black satin. Handwritten label on inside back seam: "Pierre Balmain Fall 1955"

Day dress of black silk shantung with white polka dots.

Dress of brown puckered nylon. Street length with A-lined skirt. Fitted bodice. Spread collar and 3/4 length sleeves with turned-back cuffs. Two patch pockets at upper bust, with false flaps. Center front opening with 5 circular cast brass buttons and hidden hook & eye at natural waist. Slit pockets at hips. Unlined. Retailer's label at inside back neckline: "Neiman-Marcus / Sports Shop" With matching narrow belt faced in same fabric, backed in brown leather. Rectangular self-covered buckle. Stamped on reverse: "10 1820"

Evening gown of black satin.

Evening dress of wine-colored hammered rayon satin. Wide, bateau neckline trimmed with wine colored ostrich feathers, sequins and bows of matching fabric. Short sleeves. Street length. Ruching at center front of bodice and at center back seam below waist. Left side zipper. Unlined; shoulder pads. Retailer's label at left side seam: "Neiman-Marcus / Dallas" With matching tie belt, 1 1/4" wide.

Monastic dress of red and black floral printed cotton.

Ensemble. The skirt is of heavy gold felt covered with black floral lace, which has been heavily "beaded" with sequins. Side zipper closure, and two side-seam pockets. Retailer's label inside skirt on side seam: "Neiman-Marcus". With black velvet belt, which is marked on reverse: "16 Charming Belts. 6406", "This / 'Bac-A-Belt' backing / guaranted by / Good Housekeeping" / wash or clean / as garment". The accompanying blouse is of black silk jersey with half length sleeves and gathered detail at scoop neckline. Center back zipper closure that extends full length of the garment. Inner waistband of grosgrain ribbon with hook and eye closure. No labels in blouse.

Dress of black rayon crepe in an asymmetrical design with diagonal pink rayon crepe left side shoulder and sleeve. Pink diagonal line meets under left arm with hanging pink fabric accent. High V-neckline with black fabric draping at left. Mid length skirt with draped accent down left. Two black hanging ties at left side seam waist. Long, tapered sleeves. Center back zipper closure. Peplum is asymmetric and longer on left. Long dolman sleeves with underarm gussets and folded back cuffs. B) Belt of black leather. Rectangular self-covered buckle. Stamped on reverse: "12"

Gray suit dress with underskirt. a) Semi-fitted gray linen coat dress. Moderate rounded neckline with spread collar. 3/4 length, two piece set in sleeves. Lapped center front opening with twelve round gray plastic buttons and bound buttonholes. Princess seams square over to armhole and hip in front. Patch pockets at hip with folded flap. Back has a shoulder yoke and low-slung self fabric belt with two buttons and bound buttonholes. Folded hem. Lined to the waist in gray silk.
