Racial and Ethnic Diversity Among Clinical Psychology Doctoral Students Applying for Intership
Poster evaluates the representation of racial and ethnic minority students in clinical psychology doctoral programs as well as the rate at which they were matched for internship compared to non-Hispanic White students. It was presented at the Council of University Directors of Clinical Psychology Virtual Midwinter Meeting held in January 2021. It was also presented at the UNT Psychology Research Day event held in November 2020.

Structural equation modeling of the associations between amygdala activation, personality, and internalizing, externalizing symptoms of psychopathology
Article examining how amygdala activation to facial expressions was linked with self-report of personality traits and clinical interviews of internalizing and externalizing symptoms of psychopathology. Structural equation modeling results revealed direct associations of amygdala activation with personality trait expression, as well as indirect associations (though personality) with symptoms of psychopathology.

Aberrant Salience Inventory: A meta-analysis to investigate its psychometric properties and identify screening cutoff scores
Article describes how the Aberrant Salience Inventory (ASI) is a useful tool to measure salience abnormalities among the general population. The authors claim that there is strong clinical and scientific evidence that salience alteration is linked to psychosis.

Psychometric properties of the Trauma Checklist 2.0 and its predictive utility of felony re-offending among high-risk juvenile offenders
Article describes how incarcerated youth are characterized by particularly high rates of childhood trauma, a significant risk factor for outcomes including risky behaviors and recidivism. The authors examined relationships between TCL 2.0 scores, measures of psychopathology, and psycopathic traits in a sample of incarcerated male juvenile offenders.

Evidence and reporting standards in N-of-1 medical studies: a systematic review
Article describes how authors examined publications of medical N-of-1 trials to examine whether they meet the evidence standards and the criteria for demonstrating evidence of a relation between an independent and an outcome variable per the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) standards for SCEDs. The authors also examined the appropriateness of the data analytic techniques in the special context of N-of-1 designs.
