A letter addressed to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, from J. D. Sandefer, Jr., Chairman, Board of Trustees of Hardin-Simmons University, Breckenridge, Texas dated March 22, 1945. Sandefer announces a meeting of the Board of Trustees of Hardin-Simmons University to be held on March 29 advising of a report to be made by Raymond Foy regarding the search for a president and a report by O. D. Dillingham regarding a campus plot on the future development of the University. Sandefer advises that due to travel restrictions this meeting might take the place of the annual meeting held each year in June. Sandefer requests that Carswell reply by mail stating that he will be present.
