Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Looks like those beautiful feathery trails left in the sky by giant jet planes, but it isn't. This is an aerial photograph pf speeding boats skimming over Lake Hefner. Basically, it's a sure sign spring is here but it also means there's plenty of water in Oklahoma City's lakes. Lake Overholser is practically full, Hefner is just 4.65 feet from the top and this with 90,00 acree feet in rented storage at Canton represents a 23-month city supply. And water enough to offset our current usage is flowing down the North Canadian."
