Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "The streets of Anadarko became a splash of color, a sea of people and a massive traffic jam Monday as thousands flocked to the Caddo County seat for opening of the 36th annual American Indian Exposition. If there ever was any doubt about the city being the Indian capitol of the nation, that doubt was earsed by Monday;s opening day activities. Movie star Roy Rogers and his equally famous movieland wife, Dale Evans Rogers, mounted the boot of a convertible along with their adopted daughter, Mary Dodie, to ride in the place of honor in an hour-long parade."
