Caption: "This semi-trailer refrigerated truck overturned and burned on SH 33 near Custer City Saturday, destroying both the truck and most of its cargo of eggs. Lost were 504 cases (15,120 dozen eggs). Salvaged were 99 cases, shown stacked in the foreground. The highway patrol estimated the damage at $10,000 to the truck and $10,000 in the destruction of the eggs. The driver, Paul M. Coffey, Tulsa, and Floyd Fletcher, Tulsa, owner of the truck, escaped unhurt."
