Last, he reflects on the fact that he missed the meeting in Galveston on Sunday due to personal matters.

Letter from William M. Nathan to I. H. Kempner recommending Irving Weber of Texarkana to serve as a co-chairman for the B'nai B'rith Hillel Building Committee. He also agrees to contact various successful Galveston men to see if they are interested in contributing.

Letter from I. H. Kempner to William M. Nathan expressing his intense disappointment that Nathan will be out of town for the meeting of the Texas State Conference. He states that he cannot conceive anything more important in Mississippi for the lodge than the proposed Hillel building at Austin.
