Range Sites - Stony Hills
Photograph of Hilly stony range site showing open area in foreground, and then savannah. Lines of savanna follow geologic faults on the background slopes. This geologic and vegetative pattern creates a large amount of "edge" which makes a very favorable habitate for deer and elk.
