Caption: "DEATH CRASH, A Tinker air force base Negro corporal was killed and another seriously injured late Saturday afternoon in a three-car collision in the 7000 block NE 23. Killed was Cpl. El Centro C. Coffee, about 25, of 1821 NE Page, who died in Mercy hospital from head injuries. His companion, Cpl. Louis Burlus, also of Tinker, suffered severe head lacerations. Both were riding in the car shown at left, which rammed into the car on the right after being sideswiped by a car driven by Cpl. Joe Manuel Heath, 28, also of Tinker. The third car, which was parked, was unoccupied."
