Caption: "FALLING DERRICK IS DEATH TRAP--Two men died in the twisted wreckage of this derrick which crashed Monday to the ground on the Superior Oil Co. lease at Twenty-fourth street and North Phillips avenue. Top picture shows fellow workers carrying Ervie Brownrigg from the wreckage. He died a few minutes later at Oklahoma City General hospital. Killed instantly was Percy Morgan, whose body remained pinned in the wreckage until a power hoist rained the mass of steel from him."
