Letter from B. W. Henry to Las Daughtry discussing an editorial that was recently published in the Galveston Daily News. In this article, the editors blame staff for the problems and incidents that have occurred at the jails. Daughtry, a psychiatric consult for the county jail, disagrees. He explains that there is a gross lack of staff, which ultimately leads to problems. He mentions that he has tried to fight to gain more staffing but has had little success. He invited the editorial writer to tour the jails with him and create a story.
