The auto slid sideways on the water on Broadway near the south Edmond city limits about 7 p.m. going at least 55 when the skid began the car hit the tree at the left side of the picture. The passenger compartment went 75 feet further, officer Mike Burgess of the Edmond police said. Tolley was listed in satisfactory condition at Veterans Administration Hospital with head injuries."
