Mr. Matli practices flexible tillage to the seedbed free from excessive grass and weeds. This is Soil Unit 70, subject to severe wind erosion without cover. Earl Judge says that cover is a must on this soil. The soil management program on this farm includes legumes of vetch or sweet clover. Note the effects of wind erosion on the field to the right. OK-163-1.
