Killed in the crash, which involved three vehicles. Was Clarence E. Burns, 57, of 1511 Hummingbird. Highway patrolmen and city and area police officers pressed their hunt in a wide circle around I.H. 40 and Westminister Rd. where Burns died. Truck Orange or Red Patrolman Tom Johnson said a highway patrol plane had joined the search. The officers were hoping to spot the death vehicle, an orange or red dump truck missing a tailgat...."
