Boot Scraper.
Patent for a new and improved boot scraper. This design "consists in the construction and novel arrangement of the inclined bow-shaped upper plate, having a transverse bar connecting the branches of the plate, the inner edges of which are inclined outward and upward from the upper edge of the transverse bar, and in providing, in connection with the bow-shaped plate, an under or subsidiary plate of forked form, having a rounded recess between the forks adapted to conform to the shape of the heel" (lines 18-30).

Boot and Shoe Box.
Patent for a new and improved box for boots and shoes. This design is "to be arranged beneath the counter, between the guide-strips upon the floor, and mounted on wheels, and provided with mechanism connected to the hinged lids of the boxes to raise the lid as the box is pulled out, and to close it when the box is pushed back to place again. Patent for a new and improved cleaner for gun barrels. This design "consists of a brush or cleaner formed in the main of spring metal, (preferably of brass,) and provided with bristles beveled at their free ends, so set in suitable holding parts as that when unconfined said bristles will move outward from a common axis and bear against the inner surface of a gun barrel when placed within the same" (lines 13-20).

Patent for a new and improved cap. This design calls for "an adjustable pillow, which can be used when desired, and folded up out of the way when not in use.
