Patent for cotton house with bins and conveyors that prevent the cotton from being contaminated.

Patent for a "mechanism for handling seed-cotton [...] to provide novel means for conveying said cotton directly from the wagon or from the cotton-house to the ginning mechanism, whereby the cotton is cleansed and dried during its passage" (lines 7-13). It also helps to prevent fires and contamination of ginned cotton, and to reduce labor handling seed-cotton.

Patent for a more efficient system for curing tire casings. The new patented apparatus was capable of providing both smooth and ribbed tire textures by way of aluminum tips and molds. Additionally, the apparatus provided retreading and faster curing of pneumatic tires.

Patent for window shade roller guides. This invention ensured a smooth and successful unrolling of the window shade, allowing the shade to be guided by a two-part attachment on the sides of the window shade spool. The inventor claimed that the use of this apparatus could preserve the integrity of the roller by minimizing damage during operation.

Patent for a "self-regulating windmill, so arranged that it will automatically exclude the wind from the wheel during storms and irregular or sudden squalls of wind, while it will equally enlarge the opening through which the wind is admitted to the wheel, whenever the power of the wind is reduced." Patent for "an improved fastening for the ends of bale-bands, whether the latter be constructed of sheet metal or wire." (lines 18-21) including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved mechanism for handling lint-cotton. This design "has for its object to avoid the accumulation of dust and light particles of fiber in the atmosphere of the gin-house, to greatly reduce the dangers of destructive conflagrations in ginning establishments, to avoid the repeated handling of the cotton between the gins and the press, and to secure a more perfect separation from the cotton of dust and other foreign substances" (lines 8-16).

Patent for a new and improved track-walker's tool. This design "consist[s] of a sectional handle or body having a claw-bar and spiking-maul at one end and a wrench at the opposite end, the said wrench being provided with a stud upon one face, the distance between the outer face of said stud and the outer surface of the maul when the sections are joined together and the maul faces the stud being such as to correspond to the standard distance between rails" (lines 14-23).

Patent for an "oil circulating gage particularly designed for use in connection with the oiling system of the well known 'Ford' automobile."

Patent for a new and improved system of road drainage. This design is "especially . . . for use on dirt and other roads, and adapted to quickly dry the road after a heavy rainfall without disturbing the road-bed. The invention consists of a drain arranged longitudinally under the road-bed and provided with outlet-pipes placed suitable distances apart, and each adapted to be closed at its outer end, and branch air-pipes also extending from the said drain and adapted to be connected with an air-pump for pumping the air out of the drain" (lines 10-21).
