The memo is in regards to the participants of the National Committee meeting who were unable to share all of their insights due to time constraints. For this reason, Down's is requesting that they submit their written responses concerning questions on the agenda. Also in the memo, Down's has listened the small group appointment to act as liaison between the National Committee and the task forces.

In addition, six art specialists will devote a substantial amount of time to the program.

The materials that NTIEVA sent has provided good insight to what is available and what can be achieved.

Included in the letter are details about DISD's contribution towards NTIEVA, like Visual Arts Specialist, Janice Wiggins giving 10% of her time to the 1992 year calendar for activities related to the staff development, along with six other art teachers who will devote time towards the DBAE, discipline-based art education, program.
