A letter written to Hon. Ed. Drake, Chairman, Dallas County Democratic Executive Committee from T. N. Carswell, dated November 11, 1957. Carswell advises that his daughter, Peggy Carswell, has recently moved to Dallas and has a "constructive interest in politics". He advises Drake, that in his opinion, Peggy would fit in well with his organization.

Drake advises Nicholson to place the name of Miss Peggy Carswell in the file as "one to be notified for all Conservative efforts" in their precinct and county Conservative projects. In a handwritten postscript Drake thanks Carswell for writing.
