Byrdie recounts her life-long appreciation and love for Nora, her older sister; of Nora's and Milton's love for her continuing after they married; their continued love after she and Tommy married; their contribution to Peg "in love and lifelong direction that has enriched her life". She advises that she and Tommy were glad that Nora sounded better the last time they talked to her. Hand written postscript expresses gladness to have Peg come & see them - even for a day.

Letter from Harris L. Kempner to Textron asking them for a copy of their detailed report on Textron as was offered in the most recent edition of the Wall Street Journal.

Letter from Harris Leon Kempner to Mrs. Dan C. Allensworth, John Eckel, and Dr. B. W. Henry explaining that he had been on vacation and had not had time to read their report in great detail, but he did not want to wait to thank them for the time and energy they put into the important matter. He states his appreciation that they waited to distribute the report. He also notes their desire to have a copy sent to the County Commissioners Court and Sherrif regardless of if the Human Relations Commission decides to publish it.
