The letter is personal exchange from McCarter to Duke, with McCarter using in-formalities and jest. McCarter writes that he has been asked to chair a panel for a Teacher / Docent conference at the National Gallery of Art, he also thanks Duke for the lead in regard to the proposal for a video disc on aesthetics. After talking with Same Howe, Simon and Shcuster, the suggested idea would take a least a million dollars to put together an interactive disc as complex as the aesthetics proposal.
