Subject No. 108,345 discusses the decision made by the Board regarding his parole having been turned down and advises Carswell of the decision he made to make the best of his time in prison. The reverse side includes notes handwritten by Carswell indicating that on December 14, 1955 he answered the correspondence from Subject No. 108,345 on October 8, 1955. He talked to Mr. Turner while in Austin on December 2, 1955 noting that Turner would look into the file and give any conclusion to the Board.
