The cover of this album is from Federation News, May 1945. Miss A.M. Carpenter is listed as the chairman of the Art Unit. Memorabilia include catalogues and clippings of art shows in Abilene. One exhibit, sponsored jointly by the Abilene Museum of Fine Arts and the United States Marine Corps, was entitled "Combat Art" by Sgt. Sherman Loudermilk. This book contains clippings and postcards about Camp Barkeley, the World War II training camp established outside of Abilene, and the USO activities on Second Street.
