Grants of $625,000 and $150,000 Benefit Institute For Educators On The Visual Arts

A document with written details about the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts program and the grant money received for their cause. On 1989 the Getty Center awarded a grant of $625,000 to the newly formed North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, with the instruction that the grant had to be matched over a five-year period. Following that award, in 1990 the Amon Carter Foundation matched a major portion of the Getty grant with a gift of $150,000 to be paid out over three years. As part of the match, the UNT foundation has contributed $15,250 and the Crystelle Waggoner Trust has given $5000 towards their match goal.
