Short sleeves cut in one with jacket body supplemented by two triangular shaped gussets under the arm. Lapped center front opening with single round plastic white button and in-seam (yoke seam) buttonhole supplemented by single snap closure. Front has a bias yoke which cuts across bustline. Lower front piece is also bias. Back has darts which form release tucks at waistline. Sides are vented at hem. Fully lined in white silk. b) Matching knee-length, semi-tailored skirt with folded white cotton bias for a waistband. Left side zipper closure supplemented by single hook&eye closure on waistband. Folded hem. Fully lined in white silk.

Two piece ensemble of ivory bouclé mohair. a) Day dress. Sleeveless bodice of ivory silk. High waist and straight skirt of ivory bouclé. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Skirt lined in silk matching bodice. Designer's label at inside right side seam " Autumne - Hiver 1963 / Christian Dior / Paris" Style number stamped on label: "20980" b) Jacket/over blouse; box style. Front placket with 6 mother-of-pearl 1" non-functioning buttons and bound buttonholes gives a double breasted appearance. Rolled collar which wraps around neckline is fastened with a matching button and loop and 12 covered snaps. Long, set-in sleeves. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Lined in sheer, ivory organza.

Cocktail dress of black silk. Dyed sable cuffs and at hemline. Lined in black silk. Button and snap closure in back.

Evening dress of black silk crepe. Cut on bias. Straight skirt; full length with very slight training in back. Sleeveless. Full, open neckline which forms a V in back and gathers to a bow of self at the center back. Center back opening with 6 snaps as closure. Front of dress is trimmed with a bow of same under each breast. Petersham of 5" black grosgrain with boning and closure of 5 hook & eyes is attached to black silk lining which has a zipper closure at petersham. Designer's label at center back closure: "Eisa"

Coat of short fuzzy pink wool with three-quarter sleeves cut so sable cuffs of dress will show. Six 1-inch black buttons. Lined in pink silk. Designer's Label: "Balenciaga / 10, Avenue George V. Paris"

Cocktail coat of American Beauty-red silk brocade with three-quarter sleeves. Collarless round neckline with open front. Below knee-length. Lined in red silk. Designer's label: "Balenciaga / 10, Avenue George V. Paris"

(At left) Raincoat of black vinyl. The modified A-line coat is of short length, extending to just at or below the knee, and has long sleeves. Center-front opening is secured with 3 silver/chrome clip closures, one at the rounded neckline and two at waist. There is one patch pocket at the right hip. The coat is fully lined in synthetic with vertical stripes of pink, green, blue, violet, and red on a black ground. Size 10. Manufacturer's label inside at center back just below neckline: "La Flaque / de Paris". At right inside side-seam is a Union Label.

Jumper of chocolate brown jersey wool. Below knee length, with rounded neckline. Sleeveless, with squared armholes which have plackets over shoulders which extend down front to waistline and form opening for pockets. Six belt loops of same fabric. Center back hidden zipper with hook & eye. Lined in dark gray synthetic fabric. Designer's label at back right shoulder: "Pierre Cardin / Paris New York" Retailer's label at back left shoulder: "Maisonnette / Neiman-Marcus" Union label and size tag attached to back seam. Two-piece suit of brown, yellow, olive green and off-white plaid wool twill. a) Semi-fitted jacket of plaid wool. Notched collar and lapel. Bracelet length, two piece, set in sleeves. Double breasted front opening with six round, plastic, olive buttons and three bound buttonholes. One button closure hidden inside lap. Pair of faux pocket flaps on front below waist. Back has a low-slung, self-fabric belt buttoned on at princess seams. Fully lined in ecru silk. Handwritten maker's label at bottom left hem: "Sra : De / Osborne / 964" Handwritten maker's label above previous label: "7" b) Matching knee length, princess paneled skirt with rolled waistband of lining fabric. In-seam pockets at front princess seams. Deep box pleat at center front releases at hip level. Offset left side back zipper closure supplemented by two hook and eye closures at waistband. Folded hem. Fully lined in ecru silk with white silk faille waist support lightly boned with two hook and eye closures.

Mushroom style hat of black silk organza covered with large black organza overlapping petals. Shallow black net crown with 5" wide down-turned brim. Lined in net with black grosgrain headband. No labels.

Pink peau de soie platform shoes with slingback straps. Markings left & right: "Chaussures / Givenchy / Paris" Measurements: L: 23 cm. W: 7 cm. H: 8 cm. Heel: 7 cm, 2 3/4 inches

Bowler or derby inspired hat of fine red baku straw. Shallow 2" crown with slightly rounded top. Has 1 1/2" wide slightly squared flat brim rolled at sides. 3/8" wide hat band of self ties in a small bow. Unlined with red grosgrain ribbon inner headband.

Hat of black silk organza. Overall effect is turban-like. Hat is formed with bias organza draped over calotte cap. Fabric drapes across back and is turned under at center back. 1-1/4" wide satin bow 2" above lower edge at center front. Lined with netting and has black grosgrain ribbon headband with comb at front for securing hat to wearer's head.
