Jacobs, 73, who was driving this 1929 model car when it collided with another vehicle driven by Vernie B. Stoddard, 45, of Camargo. The crash, which occurred five miles west of Catxx Canton on SH 52, Literally demolished the old timer car, fatally injuring the elderly Canton man. Jacob's died in Uniexx University hospital in Oklahoma City only minutes after he was rushed there for treatment. Stoddard and his 16- year - son received minor injuries in the crash Tuesday afternoon."

The three story brick structure a few blocks from El Reno high school was gutted Tuesday night by fire of unknown origin. Firemen battled the blaze for nearly six hours before it died down within the exterior shell."
