Pasture Management on Leon Walker’s Land

Photograph of Leon Walker's properly maintained fair condition tall bluestem grass range that was once in poor condition. Several heads of cattle are grazing on this field. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Cattle grazing on ranch that was in low poor condition 2 years ago when Walker purchased it. Today he has managed it well enough to put it in fair condition and Leon said he would continue his management work until he got it up to produce 6,000 to 7,000 lbs. of good native grass per acre.
