Soil building crop of vetch, yellow hop clover, lespedeza, and rye grass is maintained at all times except for short period during the final growth and ripening of the fruit. Phospate is applied under the legumes. A regular spray schedule has been maintained. There has never been a failure to produce a fair crop and they have produced 3000 bushels several times.
