Those who died were remembered by an unknown person, who early Wednesday morning placed a red rose at the base of the anchor at the Navy Memorial and men of the 45th Infantry Division and American Legion Post 35, who brought the nation's colors to the Thunderbird memorial. Wreaths were placed at both memorials and then taps echoed from a bugle along Couch Dr."
