Here's a view of Main Street looking east from Harvey shortly before the parade arrived. Oklahoma City closed up shop to watch its longest parade in history Wednesday afternoon. An estimated 100,000 persons lined the streets in 55-degree tempratures to watch the five-mile long parade marathon. It was the high point of the 63rd annual celebration of the historic run for land in Oklahoma territory in 1889. The rest of the week will feature the state's largest professional rodeo in Capitol Hill highschool stadium, SW 36 and Walker."
