And President Eisenhower smiled backm standing up intermittently in the famed White House "bubble top" limousine and doffing his hat to the crowds that lined the route of the motorcade from Will Rogers field to downtown Oklahoma City. The presidential plane, Columbine II, landed at 4:06 p.m. in a restricted area at the National Guard Terminal on the west side of the air field. Handshakes on Time President Eisenhower, in charcoal gray suit and a dark cashmere topcoat, stepped briskly down the ramp and shook hands with Gov. Gary and Mayor Street, heading the 13-member-reception committee that lined up by the landing ramp.........The Oklahoma City police department estimated 40,000 persons saw the chief executive as the motorcade took a leisurely course to the Skirvin Tower Hotel."
