The deed states that Swain published in the Dallas Weekly Herald his intent to seize and auction the lands listed due to unpaid taxes and that the listed lands were purchased at the auction by J. H. Collet on behalf of H. C. Hendrick. There's a statement signed by Hiram Park stating that this document is a correct copy of the deed in the Deed Records of Hemphill County, Texas.
