Letter from Truett Latimer to M. B. Moore following up on the previous letter he sent him which concerned the financing of the Farm to Market Road Program in Texas. Mr. Latimer says that under the original Colson-Briscoe Act the Legislature provided an annual expenditure to cover only the construction cost of the farm to market roads, no money was allocated for its maintenance. He suggests fixing the issue by using the Slack Bill to garner enough public support to amend the original Colson-Briscoe Act.
