Video of Kathy Jack, a member of Caven Enterprises and organizer of the Dallas Pride Parade, speaking at Outrageous Oral. Jack was introduced by Michael Doughman, the announcer for the evening, who also spoke about the early history of the Pride Parade in Dallas and the funding group, the Dallas Tavern Guild, and it's Executive Director Alan Ross. During her session, Jack speaks about her experience in the world of gay and lesbian bars such as The Conference Room, High Country, The Unicorn, and The Old Plantation, and also her times experiencing Pride and Gay Pride in the community. She worked with and continues to work with Caven Enterprises and also served for a time as the first female President of the Dallas Tavern Guild. Kathy Jack is married to Susie Buck.

During the session she speaks about her experiences attending college and later in the Dallas LGBT community and her volunteer work with OLCS during the AIDS/HIV epidemic and remembers when it was incorrectly labeled GRIDS (Gay-Related Immune Deficiency Syndrome). She shares stories of protests and traveling to marches and her time in the closet while teaching in the Dallas Independent School District while peers were outed and eventually challenged and overturned the laws in Texas.
