He mentions a trip he plans to take to New York to study a project he is working on for Stewart and thanks him for offering to pay for his return trip. He also asks if his visit to New York could be postponed until after the holidays because he has a busy schedule and discusses his availability for June and July in case Stewart wants to see him sooner.

Letter from Ben Reyes to John J. Herrera asking for Herrera's support for Leonel Castillo, and for Herrera to pledge ten dollars each month for 5 months to Castillo's campaign fund. Leonel Castillo is being considered to head the Immigration agency. Reyes has sent four copies of the press clipping of this news.
