An Oklahoma City man was in Mercy hospital Wednesday with a back injury and a late model Cadillac had a damaged front end after one driver was "over-polite." Teddy Joe Bivins, 24 929 NE 8, told police officers C.L. Posey and H.J. Bradshaw he and a companion were driving along Lake Overholser drive Tuesday night when they saw a parked car in front of them. BIVINS TOLD the offers he saw a couple "necking" and "turned off my lights so I wouldn't disturb them." Before he turned back on his lights, he mistook a bare spot in the road for a roadway, and turned off. His Cadillac ended up 60 feet from the river bank. A passenger in Bivins' car, Earl Harris, 34 of 830 NW 12, was either thrown out or jumped from the car as it ran down the embankment.
