[Cross-Gabled Stone House]

Photograph of the front and side of a single-story, cross-gabled, light-colored stone house, likely in Fredericksburg. The front-facing gable end on the right side of the house has a circular window in the center and extended eaves with decorative brackets and eave returns. There is a bay window extending from the bottom of the gable to the ground, which has stone crowns and sills, with dentils along the edge of the eaves. There is a front porch extending to the left that has decorative brackets at the top of the posts and spindlework below the frieze boards, with a large hanging swing near the left side. The front door is near the center of the building and there is a historical building medallion posted to the left.

The porch is painted white and has decorative brackets at the top of the posts and there are decorative railings enclosing both floors, with a staircase in the center of the building, angled left-to-right with the entrance near the front door on the far left. There is a stone chimney on the side of the house and a white picket fence extending from the right side of the house. Several plants potted in barrels are also visible on either side of the porch entrance and on the right side of the image.
