Recording of Lucio Edilberto Cuellar Camargo's Variaciones en seis objetos sonoros. This work is a set of variations based on six sound objects that represent a multicultural sonic world. Some of the sound objects inclue: white noise, portions of a jam session of the grupo folklorico de Buenaventura, the slam of a door, etc. These sound objects are sonic symbols used to create a personal language embracing various cultures.

Recording of Karine Dumont's L'eau et le vent me racontent à l'oreille.... This work was inspired by Georges Sand's text in which the Master Ringers listen to what the water and the wind tell them. The composer poses the question of what the rain would say if it was given a voice and explores all the possibilities. The composer supposes that "they just grant us the right to listen and listen to their story".

This piece is an electric malambo and is the third that this composer has created. It is a nostalgic work that highlights times of bravery, patriotism, honorability, and true progress. Recording of Jean Routhier's La bourrée du Comptable Chinois. The sounds used in this work consisted of a Chinese abacus, a Jew's harp, and a musical saw. Each of these materials were meant to represent instruments that create similar sounds. This piece is loosely inspired by the style of the tambourin, a popular dance within the region where George Sand lived.

Sounds coming from the inside of...

Recording of Gustavo Delgado's Sounds coming from the inside of.... This work was created as part of the Synthèse festival. It combines the sounds of four instruments from the highlands folk music of the South American continent: güiro, maracas, bombo legüero and pandereta. A processed sample of human voice was also used in an attempt to create a musical gesture of a possible Latin-American Indian melody. The composer intended for this piece to give the illusion of sound objects growing from inside of the acoustical instruments and vice versa.
