A handwritten note in Italian on the back of the postcard is addressed to "Al caro amico E. Marino" in Kansas City, Missouri and says, "Questa è la band dove appartengo. Sí puo trovarmi? C'ha un punto. Su una spalla." In this note the author identifies himself as the band member with a mark on his shoulder. Fifth sitting man from the left.
