The letter says that the contest has come to a close and the winners were "Crawford, McClennan County- $550, Gober, Fannin County - $450, Quitaque, Briscoe County - $350, and Haslet, Tarrant County - $250." He finishes by congratulating all of the contestants and encourages all to "Brighten the Corner Where You Are."
