The problem with which this study is concerned is that of the selection of those persons in an industrial organization who are most likely to become effective and successful foremen on the production line and of developing these persons into well-rounded, successful industrial foremen. The purpose of this study is to determine some of the major traits and qualifications which a man should possess if he is to become a successful foreman in industry.

The automobile dealership is one of the more important types of small business. The operation of such a business is an integral part of the economy of the country, and conditions existing in the automobile field are usually fairly representative of those in other types of small business; therefore, the general personnel policies of an automobile dealership are basically similar to personnel policies of other small businesses in the distributive field. A study of personnel policies in this field will be of some use to anyone interested in the problems of small business.

The problem of this study is to determine some effects of color on personnel in industry. Consideration is given to management-employee relationship, employee's physical and mental health, and the resulting increase of both quality and quantity of production.

It is the purpose of this study to analyze certain basic problems of office operations and personnel administration in the Goodyear Retail Stores, and to make recommendations as to improvements most needed. The purpose of this study is to gain answers an opinions from both companies offering stock ownership plans for their employees and from unions who participate or have members that participate in plans. In order to obtain answers from both companies and unions concerning plans, this study describes broadly the types of plans that are now in existence. An attempt was made to determine the most popular features of stock plans from both company and union viewpoint, and where possible, to gain recommendations leading to the formulation of more efficient and more popular plans.

A preliminary purpose of this study in the area of business communications was that of determining the status of correspondence improvement in stock life insurance companies in Dallas. However, the major purpose, which stemmed from the preliminary one, was to study intensively the approach used in Great American.

This study is an investigation of the theoretical accounting viewpoints and the accounting procedures used in business practice for the origination and administration of a self-insurance program. The purpose of this study is to compare the correct theoretical accounting procedures for self-insurance planning with those used in practice today.
