Rosenberg notes that there have been new developments with the NTIEVA program and is hesitant using a proposal from the FY95 year, and so to proceed with the review process they need to submit a proposal that is up to date. Letter to Linnet, Claude, and Ruth White from Bessie Franklin. Bessie sends her sympathies and understanding to Linnet for the death of her mother and goes on to write about Christmas festivities. At the end, she thanks the family for sending the Christmas gifts that Linnet's mother had intended to send.

Letter to Linnet White and family from Sally Thornhill. Sally sends her sympathies for passing of Linnet's mother. She writes of Christmas and the cards she's received from her friends. She requests that Linnet sends her news of their family in Texas like her mother used to do.
