Reynolds states the the Club initially wanted NTIEVA to develop an art program for the six branches of Fort Worth, however, the person in charge of the program has no real power to implement the art program and their program director is opposed to the idea in general. Reynolds writes that the participants of the seminars feel that an art program is important and they want to implement programs into their branches, but unsure if progress will be made.

Thanking McCarter and co., for his invitation to a special Administrators Day at the Dallas Museum of Art, however, Woolery is concerned that there are only five of the Dallas I.S.D. areas being represented in the group of invitee and that within his letter he asks the area directors to ensure that all ten areas are included on that day by replacement or addition. Woolery ends the letter by stating that due to his schedule, it will not permit for his full attendance but he'll share lunch and some of the afternoon's agenda what he can. To discuss the upcoming newsletter that Reynolds would like to distribute in September but needs information from Perkins on the Charlie Russell presentation scheduled for October. As well as inform Perkins that the institute is planning to offer a retreat for the consortium members at Ghost Ranch Conference Center in Abiquiu, New Mexico from March 14 - 18, 1993, and requests some Georgia O'Keefee's slides for a short presentation at the conference.

The Institute and the district face uncertain economic conditions but McCarter and Cason believe if they could stretch their first year budget they could pay a team member (kindergarten and first grade teacher, art specialist and principal) a stipend of $50 a day to attend the three-week institute during the summer. However, since Dallas was not written into the original implementation grant they will have to review it with the Getty Center and cannot promise continued support past the year.

In the letter Davis says that he has received a letter from Leland C. Clemons, Executive Vice President for the NCNB Texas in Fort Worth with a check for $77,870 from the Crystelle Waggoner Trust to be put into the Unrestricted gift account. Enclosed with the letter to Muro is the letter from Clemons to Davis.

Leilani Lattin Duke and Stankiewicz met to discuss the models that were proposed and have included brief summaries of the three components that they are currently considering and they would appreciated Davis' thoughts. Duke said that her and Rosenberg appreciated their concerns about the results of the recent evaluation of North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts but to allow some time to address and consider their recommendations.

The letter is in regards to Prairie Vision Consortium for Discipline-Based Art Education, their committed partners and the Westside Community School District submitting the letter to seek the Challenge Grant for Technology in Education. The letter details that Prairie Vision provides professional development in discipline-based art education for teachers, administrators and others. The grant will be used to the continued growth of the project and to address many of their programs needs. Included in the letter is the planning grant document.
