Interview with Dr. Krisstal Clayton for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) podcast. In this episode, Susan interviews Dr. Krisstal Clayton of the Department of Psychology at UNT. In a wide-ranging conversation, Dr. Clayton talks with Susan about her collaborations with law enforcement professionals, clinicians, criminal offenders, and victims' advocates to educate students about the many roles psychology plays in the American legal system. Dr. Clayton also explains how she got involved developing music-paired rehabilitation therapy for persons with stroke and describes some of her other innovative approaches in the classroom.

Interview with Dr. Jan Holden for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) podcast. In this episode, Susan interviews Dr. Jan Holden, who recently retired from a 31 year career as part of the UNT Counseling Program. Dr. Holden speaks with Susan about her background and how she came to conduct extensive research into the counseling implications of near-death experiences, after-death communication, and other transpersonal experiences—those that transcend the usual personal limits of space, time, and/or identity. Dr. Holden shares examples of astonishing transpersonal experiences from her research and discusses the profound life changes reported by those who have had these experiences.

Interview with Dr. Milan Reban for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) podcast. In this very special episode, Susan sits down for an extended conversation with Dr. Milan Reban. This episode was recorded on March 15, 2019, exactly 80 years to the day since Nazi troops descended on Dr. Reban's hometown. Dr. Reban shares vivid memories of his childhood in Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia during World War II, as well as the aftermath of the war and its impact on his own life and that of his family. Dr. Reban also discusses the courses he's taught for OLLI at UNT, many based on his own powerful life story, and how he first became involved with our program.

Topics covered include: making a NAMES Project Memorial AIDS Quilt square for Duane (a re-creation of the square he made for himself, which was lost on an airplane flight), the grief support group the Puryears attended, Marilyn Hollingsworth and her husband, the composition and style of Duane's art, Duane's career goal to be an art educator, Duane's legacy, and a timeline of Duane's life, including where he lived throughout his life.

Oral history interview with Dan Reich. Topics covered include Reich's career in museums and his relationship with Duane Puryear, an AIDS activist who died from complications from AIDS. Reich says that Puryear went by the name "Tag" when he knew him.

Jones, who was assigned the sex of female at birth and lived as Stacy Jeanette Jones for 42 years, discusses his upbringing, his career in the Coast Guard, the discrimination he faced as a lesbian, especially as a service member under "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," his membership with the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) in Fort Worth, founding Trans-Cendence International, and being the first trans person to run for a position in the Texas House or any legislative election in Texas.
