[Postcard of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, November 15, 1946]

Postcard of a photo of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris in France. The basilica is in Romanesque and Byzantine architectural styles and has a large central dome with a tower jutting out of it flanked by two smaller domes and towers. There are two central walkways leading up to the basilica, which appear to then join into one at a courtyard and a staircase leads to the entrance of the basilica. The walkways and staircases are surrounded by trees. A Parisian building can be seen in the distance on the right. Text on the reverse is from to Ruth Alma Kempner thanking her and her siblings for the pack of clothes and cake they sent and discussing his/her travels. On the back of the card is a message from Armand Kohn to Ruth Alma Kempner and her family, thanking them for the package they sent with clothing and cake. He discusses waiting for a ship to Palestine and that he will write to them in more detail on the ship.
