Oral History Interview with Linnie McAdams, December 10, 1987

Interview with community activist Linnie McAdams from Denton, Texas. In the interview, McAdams discusses her experiences concerning the activities of the Denton Christian Women's Inter-Racial Fellowship in the 1960s and 1970s. She also discusses what it was like growing up in a racist community, and includes memories concerning her personal educational experiences in segregated schools, the living conditions in the African-American section of Denton, and her personal employment experiences. McAdams recalls the desegregation of public schools, housing, and facilities as well as the integration of churches.
