To attend the conference as a participant, the teacher must be a member of TAEA, enclosed in the letter are membership forms. Stephens would like this event to be hospitable to visiting educators and would like to visit Schronk's next art meeting to beg her case before the teachers.

An organization grant application form for the National Endowment Association filled out by the North Texas State University, North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts. The form has been filled out requesting financial assistant / grant awards to help fund their discipline-based art education reform program and the money will go towards training teachers to become art specialists in the classroom. The following pages go into greater details about the programs primary goals and their expected expenses.

The North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts is one of the six programs supported by the Getty Education Institute's fund to train staff and educators to conduct research in the practice of discipline-based art education and then implement that knowledge into the school curriculum. The NT institute offers research fellowships to five graduate students each year who want to work in art classrooms to find innovative ways to teach art and art appreciation.
